Our Moscow team just completed a pastors’ meeting with 30 regional pastors along with a city music festival. Evangelist team leaders are presently conducting pastors’ meetings across Europe and Asia in preparation for 2019 outreach events!
The following is a great report from our evangelists German and Julia, of their recent ministry in central Russia.
For 5 years we’ve evangelized at the annual Udmurtia, Russia, “Holiday of Goodness and Light” along with the surrounding villages. Two years ago we brought a 150-seat tent for the Church of Philadelphia in Votkinsk. Pastor Sergey M. began to conduct tent evangelism in the villages of Udmurtia and found that many people who wouldn’t come to the Church building went easily into the tent, where everything was colorful. Many from the church came in the national Udmurtia costumes and sang songs in Udmurtia language. For the children, there was also a good program with clowns.
This year, Sergey decided to carry out tent evangelization in the center of the city of Votkinsk. Thank God everything turned out as the authorities did not interfere and gave permission to hold the event. During 10 days in the center of the city the gospel was openly preached, there were many guests from different regions of Russia.
Evangelist Andrey A. from Krasnodar brought his tent, so there were two tents. Many pastors who saw this event were interested in this Ministry, and now German is invited to start a tent Ministry in the Mari El Republic, the Chuvash Republic and the Ulyanovsk region. In May, there will be a trip to the city of Yoshkar Ola (Mari El) to meet with pastors and hold a “Holiday For the Whole Family” in several villages.
