Barbara (Barb to us) has been the voice of Christian Adventures to our partners for 25 years. She has always been the smile behind the telephone praying for our partners and calling them with encouraging words. Barbara Rand passed away suddenly on Wednesday evening, June 24, 2020. She will be greatly missed and we know she is worthy of a Queen’s reception in heaven!

Barbara A. Rand is survived by her daughter, Deborah Markley, her son, Michael White, her two grandsons, Shane and Christopher Markley, and her sister, Patricia Barnett. Barb was an amazing mother and grandmother, as well as a best friend to everyone who knew her. Her laugh will live on in our hearts and minds until we hear it again when we meet her in heaven.

Her favorite bible passage was Psalm 23, which she faithfully taught her grandsons.

In Barb’s Skype description she had written: “Don’t fear or worry – cast all your cares upon Jesus, for He cares for you – He will never leave you or forsake you. Let His peace overwhelm you.”

This is in fact the Barbara Rand our partners knew and loved! She was always there to remind our partners that Jesus loves you, He cares for you and He will always be with you! Barbara until we meet again, be at peace and know that you’ve laid a great groundwork for someone else to pick up your legacy of partner ministry!
