Americans are about to celebrate the 250^th birthday of our nation, and renew our gratitude to those who fought to establish the freedoms many of us sometimes take for granted. As Christians, we celebrate the ultimate freedom from the tyranny of sin that kept us in the dark and on a path of eternal destruction. We have been reconnected to the unseen source of blessings, strength, and power that makes us a success. Today, as threats to our constitution and the freedoms it guarantees have begun to openly present themselves, we must remain equally vigilant and involved in protecting what was so hard fought to win. Rejoice in your freedom that allows you to dream, and let’s celebrate this milestone Independence Day and never forget what it means!
