Train Your Brain

11 May Train Your Brain

The Apostle Paul gave us some things to think about. He said, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things” (Phil. 4:8). Just before that, he tells the Philippian church and us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” In other words, do not let your mind go into the gutter of worry, fear, or anxiety about what might happen in the unknown future! Instead, train your mind to think on what God says to think about, and experience His peace!
