It is important to remember that when Jesus hung on that cross, we hung with Him. Our problem was not just the devil, but also our sin nature. We had to identify with Jesus in His death to identify with Him in His life. Why? Because the devil can do nothing beyond death! The curse ends at death. Sickness ends at death. All torment and trouble end at death. We died to our old nature so we could live a new life—the life HE gave us —that is beyond the power of Satan and this fallen world. You are a New Creation! You have been set free!
